The eleventh annual Food City Border Bowl was played on Saturday, January 20, 2018.  The excitement around the Border Bowl grew this year as it became a multi-state event.  Kentucky All-Stars took on Tennessee All-Stars, with Georgia All-Stars and North Carolina All-Stars joining in the mix.  In game 1, Georgia defeated North Carolina 17-7.  Game 2 featured Kentucky battling Tennessee and winning 31-14 to take bragging rights, going ahead in the series 6-5.  For the second year, the game was played at Sevier County High School in Sevierville, Tennessee, with practice sessions being held at the Rocky Top Sports World Complex in nearby Gatlinburg, Tennessee.   This year's first game of the day  featured the Kentucky All-Stars taking on the North Carolina All-Stars at 12 noon.  Kentucky came away with the 50-0 victory.  The Georgia All-Stars battled it out with the Tennessee All-Stars.  Georgia came out the winner with a score of 13-0.
